Would you Believe a Sunroom can also contain Engraved Crystal?

March 25th, 2009

Sunrooms are primarily glass and aluminum constructed rooms that can be enclosed with screens and used during nice weather, or they can be year round enclosures. Sunrooms come in many different styles and sizes, even some made out of engraved crystal.

Sunrooms are available in a multitude of sizes and styles; consumers should choose one that corresponds to their needs and objectives. Three elements should be taken into consideration when purchasing a sunroom: 1) the number of seasons that the homeowner intends to use it for, 2) the quantity of glass desired for the sunroom, and 3) whether the homeowner seeks to convert existing space or create a new room.

Sunrooms are also great for gardeners, since they provide a wonderful showcase room for plants, as well as an optimal growing environment. Many great plants thrive in this type of environment that would not normally be suited for the indoors. Sunrooms are also great as family room additions or pool enclosures with a chess set in the corner.

Whatever the purpose may be, the type of sunroom you select depends on its main function. Sunrooms are purpose-built, so that they let in only the amount of sunlight that you desire. Sunrooms are also a great alternative to conventional wood construction as they are typically built in days rather than weeks. Sunrooms are warm in the winter and sunrooms are cool in the summer, when equipped with the state of the art heat pumps and heating and air conditioning equipment to compliment a beautiful sunroom addition.

Sunrooms are a great way to add natural light and space to your home, without worrying about mother nature and the elements. Choose a specialist in aluminum sunroom construction, as it is proven that wood sunrooms do not have the longevity of aluminum.

Sunrooms are a wonderful addition to any home, especially when adorned with canvas wall art. Most homeowners consider building a sunroom because they want to enjoy some time in the sun without having to go outdoors. Sunrooms are a specific type of room addition. In most ways, sunrooms can be as functional as any other room addition such as a bedroom or den.

Study for the SAT Essay Faster: A Ninja Trick to Higher Scores

There’s a super, ninja trick to getting your brain to absorb information like a sponge that’s been baking in the hot sun.

I learned this trick some time ago. And when I used it to prepare a proposal for a client, I was able to reduce the research time from 40 hours to about 40 minutes using this technique (I know it sounds unbelievable but when I tell you how it works, you’ll see why it’s totally possible for you too.)

I learned this trick from Mark Forster. You can go check out his blog.

Anyhow, here’s the tip:

Before you open up a book or article that you’re going to study or use for research write down all the questions you want answered. Then try to answer the questions with whatever knowledge you have and even make up things that are NOT true to answer the question.

I know this sounds strange but keep reading, When you do this, your brain gets primed and ready to learn the REAL information in the book or article.

Your mind becomes focused like a laser beam on the information you need. And if you’re doing research, you’re able to easily bypass the information you do NOT need to answer your questions. That’s how I saved 40 hours of research for my client’s proposal.

I noticed I only needed to answer three questions with the big stack of research materials on my desk. I didn’t actually NEED to read them all. So what I did was skim through the materials and find exactly what I needed to write the proposal and no more.

You can use this idea for any paper you’ll write in high school or college too. And of course when studying for the SAT Essay or any other part of the SAT the same tip applies. Write out what questions you want answered. Answer them. Then find the REAL answers in the text.

Simple, right? And very effective. If you’d like to know more ninja tricks like this to help you study for the SAT Essay and get into a top college or university then get SAT Essay Success today. Next Fall when you start your Freshman year in college you’ll be glad you did.

Sincerely,

Rodney Daut

Old time radio shows are wonderful for us all!

March 24th, 2009

When I started commuting almost an hour and a half to work, I got really, really bored. That’s a long drive, and frankly the news plays the same 5 minute sound bytes over and over again. I was losing my mind.

That’s when I discovered radio drama. I happened to be searching online and came across it. I don’t remember exactly what led me to it, but I’m so glad I found it.

My discovery led to some great old shows like The Shadow, Abbot and Costello, Lights Out, Campbell’s Theater. Very cool stuff. My drive to and from work for the day suddenly became a highlight instead of a chore.

However, the more I listened to the old radio shows shows, the more I got interested in whether or not there were any new shows that were created in the same “spirit” as the old ones.

Sure enough, there were! Great shows like Red Panda Adventures and Black Jack Justice from Decoder Ring Theater products. Very cool stuff.

Now, any time I’m bored sitting in a waiting room or taking a long drive, or just whatever, I let radio drama keep me entertained and enthralled instead of twiddling my thumbs.

To my great surprise, I often find myself wishing that my waits or drives were longer! Now how’s that for proof of how great these cool shows are?

Selling Tips From A Real Estate Pro - Get Maxium Value For Your Home

March 24th, 2009

Before each showing of your home to potential buyers, it is important to make a good first impression. Be sure your front entry has a sparkling door knocker and door knobs, and that front door and porch are clean and free of clutter.

Once inside your home should smell inviting so bake the quick and easy break and bake cookies or brownies, or put a drop of vanilla on the top of a light bulb for a welcome aroma. You can make the home seem more inviting by installing higher wattage light bulbs and opening all the window treatments to let the light flood your home.

Buyers want to visualize themselves and their lifestyle in their new home, so to make your house more neutral, please distance yourself emotionally. This means putting away all family photos, awards, etc that are specific to your family. Also removing excess clutter by renting a storage unit or having a garage sale will make your home appear larger and more inviting.

You may want to host an open house while you still have furniture in your home, so buyers can visualize furniture placement with the layout and space available. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to disclose any past or potential issues that may effect the value and continued desirability of your advertised property. Real estate law varies from state to state, and some require you to reveal everything from a leak in the faucet to a neighbor who may be a nuisance. Be sure you are aware of the disclosure laws for your area.

As an additional incentive to attract an offer on your home, you might consider offering a one-year warranty to the new buyer. This often gives them the peace of mind to proceed with buying your home. When a potential buyer starts looking for a property, they look online first. A recent survey shows that 82% start with an internet search, due to the comfort and convenience. Only 12 % find the home of their dreams in a newspaper ad. It is important to let people know your home is for sale!

Many buyers prefer a video tour or virtual tour to eliminate the homes that won’t fit their needs, and to save their valuable time. Don’t appear too anxious or a potential buyer may think they can get a steal! Did you know surveys taken by the National Association of Realtors prove that most buyers seek out a for sale by owner when they are looking for a bargain, and automatically offer 10 percent under the seller’s asking price? Don’t offer too much information about your needs and plans- a buyer could use that information to justify a low offer.

A good marketing plan is essential to selling your home. Find a dedicated professional in Real Estate that knows how to stage your home to sell. Better agents offer advice on furniture placement and redesign of your home to maximize the chances of a quick and profitable sale. With each inquiry on your home, your chance of selling it soon increases.

How to best use your autoresponder for your email marketing campaigns.

March 24th, 2009
Comments Off

Studies show a potential visitor will take seven to nine messages before s/he becomes comfortable with you and eventually contacts or preferably buys your products or services. If you are left with only one marketing tool, what would you retain? Most marketers would say autoresponders or their email list. This tells you how serious you should treat your email marketing effort AND your autoresponder tool.

What is an autoresponder? An email autoresponder allows you to follow up your potential customers at a predefined timeframe automatically through emails. You may acquire this functionality by installing a script on your webhosting or you can acquire this function through third party autoresponder service providers Is your email autoresponder working as effectively as designed? What criteria should you consider when it comes to picking an email autoResponder? What is the single most important criteria when choosing your autoresponder service?

Three criteria you should consider before you invest your hard-earned cash in this vital marketing tool. A great deliverability is the most sought-after feature of any email autoresponder. Any internet user would receive tons of SPAM mails in their mail-box each day. If you use Gmail, you should be familiar with the screen shot below. There are 2808 spam emails in my Gmail account as at the time of writing. I will never read these emails. If you use some poor autoresponder service, your emails will automatically be streamed into these SPAM folders. You may ask, “What determines which email go to “SPAM” folder?” Unless you are gmail.com, you don’t know their “way of thinking”.

But definitedly you don’t want to be the one who emails the optins to their SPAM folder. But what is the main cause for your emails not being able to reach your targetted prospects or subscribers? There are many reasons why it is the case, but by far the most important reason is this: Is your autoresponder a self hosted script OR third party autoresponder service? As mentioned, you acquire your autoresponder function either by the script you hosted on your website or you may build your list and your autoresponder through a third party service provider. The mission of a third party autoresponder service providers is to deliver your emails. Why do I not recommend a self-hosted script which you can install onto your webhost?

The reason is one word: “SPAM”. Some of your subscribers will report you as SPAM, no matter how diligent and sincere you are with your email marketing campaigns. People just forget they sign up on your list. They will report your emails as SPAMs some day down the road. It’s just a matter of “when”, not “If”. When subscribers report your emails as spams, their internet service provider (ISP) may blacklist your future emails. This blocks your emails getting into their inbox in the future. I have previously used a hosted service, which had good results initially (for about 6 months). After a few of my ex-subscribers complaint me spamming them, my emails are not as effective as before. Treat email autoresponders service companies eat and breath on deliverability.

They ensure your emails get delivered. Some autoresponder service us claiming that it delivers 99.34%, meaning it their readers get 99 emails out of 100 emails! There are some free autoresponder services out there. I urge you not to waste your time finding or even trying one. Why? I have used those services and only found myself promoting someone!|s else services. Those free services basically send out your emails with their own embedded advertising. Your readers will read their ads first before your messages. If you are not serious about your business, use free autoresponsers. Price should be the least concern, as autoresponder is your lifeblood of your viral traffic. Usually a quality autoresponder costs around $20 a month.

Bifocal Glasses and Their Technological Development

March 24th, 2009

The American gentleman of science, Ben Franklin, who endured both nearsightedness as well as presbyopia, invented bifocal reading glasses in 1784 to obviate having to frequently alternate betwixt two pairs of eyeglasses.

The 1st lenses for repairing astigmia were constructed by the British astronomer George Airy within 1825.

Along the history of bifocals, the building of spectacle frames also developed. Early on oculars were contrived to be either held in place with hand or by maintaining force on the nose. Girolamo Savonarola advised that oculars could be held in place with a ribbon passed over the subject’s head, this in turn fastened by the weight of a hat.

Entering modern bifocal history, the contemporary fashion of bifocal reading glasses supported by temples passing over the ears, was produced in 1727 by the British lens maker Edward Scarlett. These designs were not at once prosperous, however, and assorted styles with attached handles like “scissors-glasses” and lorgnettes stayed fashionable throughout the eighteenth and into the early nineteenth century.

In the early 20th century, Moritz von Rohr at Zeiss made the Zeiss Punktal spherical point-focus lens system which dominated the eyeglass lens domain for several years.

Despite the improving fame of contacts and laser restorative eye surgery, eyeglasses stay quite common, as their engineering has continued to evolve. For example, it’s currently possible to buy frames constituted of special memory metal alloys that return to their correct configuration after being bent. Other frames have spring-loaded hinges.

Glasses have come a long way, haven’t they? In fact, today you can even buy rimless glasses.

Most of these designs are also distinctly better able to resist the stresses of day-to-day wear as well as the occasional accident. Contemporary frames are also frequently made from substantial, light-weight materials like titanium alloys which weren’t available in earlier times.

Interesting Things To Consider Well Before Puchasing A Gazebo

March 23rd, 2009
Comments Off

If you are fortunate enough to have a gazebo in your yard then you already know the great benefits. It is a great place to sit and unwind after a long and grueling day at the job. A gazebo is also a wonderful addition to any landscaping plans. Gazebos are more than just a pretty structure though. They can be a great place to have family get togethers and other family activities. Some people use their gazebos for romantic get aways, even if they are only getting away to the back yard. Gazebos are becoming more and more popular these days and their popularity continues to grow. With this being the case, what type of gazebo is right for you and your family.

One question you want to ask yourself before you purchase a gazebo is can this structure hold up in the weather environment where I live? This is a question that some may not ask when they are considering purchasing a gazebo. Let’s say that you live in an area of the country that is extremely windy. Some homeowners can draw their own gazebo plans. You want to make sure that before you purchase a gazebo that you are getting the right material gazebo with the proper structure so that the wind does not blow it down. You would hate to buy a gazebo and have it blow away, or worst blow into your house. This would be less than ideal.

Another important question you should ask yourself is do you want to have a bug screen around your gazebo? If you live in an area of the country that has a major mosquito problem you may want to consider a bug screen for your gazebo. All outdoor gazebos should be secured properly as not to tip over. When you are throwing a family get together, the last thing you want is to have it ruined by mosquitoes or other bugs biting everyone. If this is the case you want to make sure that your gazebo either has a bug screen or can at least handle a bug screen if you so choose to put one on there.

A third important question to ask before purchasing a gazebo is how will it be anchored to the surface that it rest on? There are three popular surfaces that people tend to put their gazebos on. One of the surfaces is a wood deck, another is a slab of concrete and the third is pavers. Home owners should learn how to build a gazebo in their spare time. Make sure you know ahead of time which surface you are going to be placing your gazebo because each of these surfaces will need a different set of equipment that will anchor the gazebo. This is key because you want your anchor to be sturdy and secure so that your gazebo does not topple or shift from one side or another.

The last question that you may want to ask is what size gazebo do I want in my backyard? This is one of the easier questions to answer. Gazebos come in all different sizes, shapes, materials and colors. Be sure that you measure the space in which you plan to place your gazebo before you buy it. You would not want to start constructing your gazebo and find out that there is not enough space for it to properly fit.

Laser Teeth Whitening, Skin Care & Anti Aging

March 23rd, 2009

Let’s face it – when it comes down to it, we all want to look our very best on a daily basis. One of the things that more and more people are looking to do is to get laser teeth whitening because the way we look based on our teeth is one of the very first things that people will see when they meet us. Laser teeth whitening may not be the very cheapest way of getting our teeth whitened but one can be sure that getting our teeth whitened by working with the very best professional teeth care people may well be the very best thing that we could ever do. Also, due to the demand we have seen that laser teeth whitening has dropped in price making it very affordable for a wider range of people.

The other thing that we see a great deal of interest in is that of anti aging and doing all that we can to make sure that our skin looks its very best in line with our white teeth. There are so many anti aging products out there that we can choose and just as with the teeth whitening products, we have to do our due diligence by looking at the skin care reviews and make sure we do as much research up front as possible in order to make sure that we make the purchase that is the right one for us.

The anti aging products that we end up purchasing will have a direct effect on our skin care regime so when everything is measured up it makes sense to make sure that we do as much research up front as we possibly can.
