The blog was conceived to be a kind of “website for the poor man” that would give you a place on the Net without having to create a website. From one mans blog to the next the blog spot became a great method for folks to get together on the Internet. Even though it was drab, cost was not an issue; but change was in the air.

After a short time the unassuming blog spot was sporting a variety of things like multiple fonts, photographs, and lots of other cool stuff. And before long computer hobbyist had the ability to have blogs of their own that offered their opinions on social and other issues, as well as market specific items. Compared to a website, a blog was less difficult to start – and in a short time blogs began to spring up everywhere you look on every imaginable topic.
