With other cleaners, I have tried to skimp on the investment, only to realize that there was no cleaning attachment (and my couches are as much or a trial as the carpet), or the tank was too small, or the cord too short… but the Hoover SteamVac Dual V is different. It comes with a 12-amp carpet cleaner; that means it is strong! The rotating brushes work together to clean and then groom my carpets. The Dual V simply means the technology of this machine produces equal suction across the whole path, so the edges are as clean as the center. This definitely is a time saver.
The direct heat is also nice, as some cleaners don’t even have a heating feature. Anyone who really gets things clean knows that hot water is a key. There are three different speeds, as well: a spill pick up (that is handy), gentle scrub for light cleaning, and power scrub. Guess which one mine stays set on? This unit is also conveniently sized. It’s 20X12 inches, and has an entire year’s warranty. The hose is 8’ long, and it has a powered handheld piece for fabrics and steps.
