Crash diets are thought of as great ways to lose weight quickly, but people don’t realize how bad it is for their bodies.  An engine is like a human body.   In order to work right, it needs fuel.   And that fuel is our food.   Of course, over eating can lead to fattening up the body and this can make it perform slower and it can also lead to all sorts of diseases in the long run.    So how do you lose weight in a safe, healthy manner? Eat in small portions – It’s okay to eat what you want. Anything can be eaten as long as the portions are small.   Is that chocolate cake just too tempting?   Just eat half a slice.   When you eat smaller portions your body will thank you.   So, you won’t be adding on extra fat, but you’ll be losing fat, which is a great way to lose weight.   This is probably the best way to lose weight safely.

Don’t exercise so fast -  Who has stated that working out faster makes you lose weight quicker?   Burning the fat off and sweating is what working out is all about.  You sweat even when your exercise isn’t as rigorous.   The areas of your body that need to release sweat is what you should focus on.    It will really benefit your body if you do some slow exercises like Yoga or Pilates.   Even though you aren’t moving fast in these, the muscles are targeted in such a way that they effectively burn fat.  Don’t push your body harder then you can handle.

Drink lots of water – Water is the easiest, best thing to help you burn fat.   Water, which helps you sweat more, plays a big role in burning fat.  Everyday you should be drinking 8-10 glasses.
