To all you women out there who have pregnancy stretch marks, help is here!

February 26th, 2010

Since the birth of my son I have been told most days how beautiful he is and how much he looks like me and my husband.  I love him to pieces and wouldn’t change my life for the world.

The one factor that I do want back is my perfectly toned, blemish free stomach.  At only twenty four years old I have always taken advantage of having nice skin but, since having my son, I have gross pregnancy stertch mark scars all over my stomach and around my hips, I even have a few on my boobies where they got bigger rapidly.

I was informed before the pregnancy to use large quantities of coco butter but I laughed aside this advice and didn’t use anything!  My stretch marks were visible during the pregnancy but after giving birth, when my stomach went back to being flat (er) the pregnancy stretch marks became more visible and there seemed to be quite a few more of them too.

I tried using a selection of creams and oils to reduce them without results, then, when talking to a mate of mine over drinks a lovely women interrupted us, she’d listened to us talking and wished to advise that I get a derma roller.

So I took her number and did a search on Google for ‘derma roller’.  I discovered derma-rollers.com and discovered that the derma roller helps to remove stretch marks by inducing the healing process, therefore increasing the levels of collagen and elastin in the skin.

So I thought What do I have to lose? and bought a derma roller to treat my pregnancy strechmarks.  The derma-roller isn’t too expensive and if it didn’t work there is a results based money back guarantee.  I got the 1mm and 1.5mm lengths and got a free vitamin rich natural source cream!

I have now been using the derma roller to treat my stretch marks for about 4 months now and it has worked wonders on my stomach and thighs! Most of the stretch marks have completely gone and the more prominant stretch marks are now much less visible, I think using the 1.5mm has benefited these most.

I have my confidence back!
